Librotraficante

    A caravan carrying with it banned books and authors traveling from Texas through to Arizona made its way to Tucson. Due to the outrageous state of affairs in Arizona in which award winning authors are now prohibited from being used in the schools, the group felt it necessary to bring these books back to the students.  They traveled from Houston, TX to Tucson, AZ with thousands of books, many of them now banned, giving them out to students.

    Tucson was the last stop and I was privileged to see amazing authors speak and read from their amazing works which are being withheld from our students.  Truly inspiring.  Although brought about from ridiculous circumstances, it was a truly beautiful event.  

Knowledge cannot and will not be contained in some box marked “banned”. It will escape and soon enough our students will be learning the truth once again.
